Someone who I just started following on her made a pretty valid point in her most recent journal. DA is not what it use to be 5-10 years ago.

Why do I bother posting art on here anymore? The only things that are faved in my gallery anymore are the pics of half naked or naked women that I've posted and they're about 1-3 year old pics now. Not the art that I put +10 hours into :/ And dear GOD, the stupidity or one word comments when I DO get them. One word and hate comments are NOT criticism, its some asshole or bitch who wants to be an asshole or bitch publicly to someone they don't know. Plus lets not forget there's the assholes bashing the fact that I take pics of girls who aren't model skinny. Yeah, OK, we get it, you hate any girl that isn't as skinny as a twig. For fuck sake, don't bring it onto my page. Its called don't fucking look. Some people like plus sized women, some don't. Get over it. Why is it such a trend to go out of their way to hate on someone's art?

DA is definitely not what it use to be, and art site where you could post art, get feedback and constructive criticism, and praise for the time and effort you put into it
